Album Notes & Community Reviews

Despite its cynical title, the tenth studio album from the North Carolina indie rock institutions is an incredibly energetic, life-affirming meditation on aging and loss. Following the tragic death of a close friend, frontman Mac McCaughan channels grief into furious, hyper-melodic power-pop anthems that rank among the band's most vital work.
