Album Notes & Community Reviews

Bolstered by the infectious, scene-defining anthem 'Slack Motherfucker', the North Carolina quartet's debut album captured the highly energetic, DIY spirit of the early 90s indie rock underground. The abrasive yet melodic pop-punk aesthetic helped permanently establish Merge Records and the broader Chapel Hill music scene.
