Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded in a converted barn in Normandy, France, the British quartet's fifth album adopts a notably somber and reflective tone following personal losses within the band. The production heavily incorporates acoustic guitars, strings, and brass arrangements, shifting away from their high-energy Britpop origins toward complex, suite-like progressive pop structures.
