Album Notes & Community Reviews

The American progressive metal titans delivered their highly technical, remarkably aggressive sophomore effort, marking the debut of powerhouse vocalist Russell Allen. Michael Romeo's incredibly virtuosic, neoclassical guitar shredding completely drives the dense, highly symphonic compositions, exploring dark fantasy and mythological themes. The fiercely energetic, remarkably complex recording firmly established the band's signature, highly cinematic heavy metal sound.
