Album Notes & Community Reviews

T-Bone Burnett's 'Truth Decay' is a seminal work in the early development of Americana and roots rock. Stripping away the excess of late 1970s studio production, the album relies on raw rockabilly, country, and blues structures to deliver Burnett's sharp, spiritually introspective lyricism. It established his reputation as a master of authentic, traditional American music aesthetics.
