Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the disbandment of the highly influential group Sugar Babe, the Japanese singer-songwriter delivered her debut solo effort. The record bridges the gap between traditional kayōkyoku and the emerging, sophisticated city pop sound, heavily utilizing acoustic instruments and gentle jazz-pop arrangements. Supported by former bandmate Tatsuro Yamashita and members of Tin Pan Alley, it captures a beautifully melancholic, autumnal atmosphere.
