Album Notes & Community Reviews
A foundational, remarkably lush masterpiece of the Japanese City Pop movement, Taeko Ohnuki's sophomore album heavily features intricate jazz-funk arrangements by Ryuichi Sakamoto. 'Sunshower' is profoundly soothing and distinctly urban, pairing beautifully mellow, soft vocal performances with incredibly warm, melodic summer grooves.
