Continuing their evolution from raw, Motorhead-esque pub metal, the British band's fourth album introduces a sleeker, more melodic approach to their heavy sound. The record features the notable addition of second guitarist Cliff Evans, allowing for more complex harmonic structures and extended soloing. Despite its high quality, it marked the end of the band's initial classic run before a lengthy hiatus.
