Yappari

Album Notes & Community Reviews

This incredibly obscure Japanese cassette release presents a surreal, almost child-like interpretation of minimal synthesizer music. 'Yappari やっぱり' utilizes rudimentary drum machines and simple, playful electronic melodies that frequently veer into dissonant, avant-garde territory. It is highly regarded by collectors as an eccentric precursor to the Japanese toypop movement.
