Album Notes & Community Reviews

Announced just hours before its release as the 'sister record' to 'Folklore', Swift deepens her exploration of acoustic, atmospheric indie-folk. Continuing her prolific collaboration with Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff, the compositions lean slightly further into country and Americana roots while maintaining a focus on fictional, literary character studies. It cemented her pivot away from stadium pop and showcased an extraordinary period of creative momentum.
