Speak Now

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Written entirely by Swift to address industry skepticism regarding her songwriting capabilities, 'Speak Now' functions as a deeply personal and thematic response to her peers and critics. The record significantly pushed the boundaries of her early country sound, heavily incorporating sweeping strings, power pop guitars, and anthemic rock structures.
