The collaborative project between Justin Broadrick (Godflesh) and Kevin Martin (The Bug) resulted in an incredibly dense, punishing two-disc masterclass of experimental noise. One half focuses on brutally heavy, sluggish hip-hop breakbeats drowned in industrial distortion, while the other descends into terrifying, beatless dark ambient drone. The overwhelmingly oppressive, futuristic soundscapes successfully bridged the extreme metal underground with vanguard electronic beat culture.
