Album Notes & Community Reviews

The flamboyant American guitar hero attempts to streamline his blues-heavy hard rock for the MTV generation with this heavily polished release. 'Penetrator' features prominent synthesizer usage and slick, AOR-friendly choruses, aligning closely with the mid-eighties glam metal explosion. Despite the presence of high-profile guest vocalists, the stylistic shift was met with a lukewarm reception from his traditional fanbase.
