Trans Europe Expression

Album Notes & Community Reviews

This highly obscure, entirely instrumental debut from the Japanese ensemble is a magnificent homage to the golden era of European progressive rock. The compositions are incredibly intricate, effortlessly weaving dizzying jazz-fusion time signatures with the lush, flute-driven symphonic grandeur reminiscent of classic acts like Camel and Focus. It represents an astonishingly authentic, technically flawless continuation of the deeply melodic 1970s progressive aesthetic.
