Self-produced in their home studio, the husband-and-wife duo continues to perfect their nostalgic, 1970s-indebted indie pop sound. The lyricism acts as a chronicle of intense personal hardships, including severe illness and the loss of a parent, yet frames these struggles within incredibly sweet, melodic soft rock arrangements. It represents their most emotionally resilient and consistently catchy release to date.
