Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded virtually as a solo project, the Norwegian guitar virtuoso utilizes extensive overdubbing to weave intricate tapestries of electric guitar, keyboards, and flute. The compositions are deeply influenced by modern classical minimalism and ambient music, heavily favoring sustained, atmospheric soundscapes over traditional jazz rhythms. It represents one of the most chilling, cinematic achievements of his highly prolific tenure on the ECM label.
