Album Notes & Community Reviews

Highlighting his profound ability to blend icy Scandinavian atmospherics with fiery jazz fusion, Rypdal's second ECM release is an evocative instrumental journey. Accompanied by Barre Phillips and Jon Christensen, the expansive improvisations move seamlessly between chaotic avant-garde bursts and vast, calm sonic landscapes.
