Album Notes & Community Reviews

Slowing down their blistering thrash tempos to accommodate a more melodic, groove-oriented approach, the Bay Area veterans' fifth album marked a deliberate push for mainstream commercial success. The pristine production highlights Alex Skolnick's exceptional lead guitar work and Chuck Billy's transition towards cleaner, more accessible vocal melodies.
