Album Notes & Community Reviews
Thanatos's third album, 'Angelic Encounters' completed the comeback of the Netherlands' oldest death metal band, formed by Stephan Geb茅di in 1984, dissolved in 1992 and revived in 1999 with Sinister's Aad Kloosterwaard and Asphyx's Paul Baayens in the ranks. It closes with re-recorded versions of the 1980s demo tracks 'Speed Kills' and 'The Howling', its thrash-informed riffing continuous with the band's first incarnation.
