Continuing their incredible run of pre-Beatles commercial dominance, The 4 Seasons deliver highly polished, soaring vocal pop on this widely successful album. Driven by Frankie Valli's stratospheric falsetto and Bob Crewe's punchy, rhythm-heavy production, the group updates classic rock and roll and R&B hits with their signature doo-wop infused harmonies. It effectively bridged the gap between 1950s vocal groups and the emerging 1960s pop-rock sound.
