Album Notes & Community Reviews

Masterminded by The Magnetic Fields' Stephin Merritt, this side project functions as an incredibly eclectic showcase of his brilliant, heavily synthesizer-driven indie pop songwriting. The remarkably unique concept features a completely different underground indie-rock luminary handling lead vocals on every single track, including Lou Barlow, Dean Wareham, and Georgia Hubley. The deeply melancholic, incredibly catchy melodies perfectly complement the brilliant, cynical lyricism.
