Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Black Love' elevates The Afghan Whigs' unique blend of alternative rock and R&B into a sprawling, deeply cinematic urban noir. Greg Dulli delivers intensely passionate, often angry narratives of betrayal and longing over highly melancholic, dark, and soul-inflected rock arrangements.
