Lullabies for the Dormant Mind

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Canadian metalcore act's sophomore effort is a fierce, technically demanding showcase largely defined by frontwoman Alissa White-Gluz's spectacular vocal versatility. Switching seamlessly from brutal, guttural death growls to soaring, operatic cleans, she anchors the dizzying, neoclassical riffing and symphonic arrangements. The complex, socially conscious songwriting significantly elevated their standing within the modern extreme metal scene.
