Ammonia Avenue
by The Alan Parsons Project
Originally intended to be a double-album follow up to 'Eye in the Sky', this project deals conceptually with the misunderstandings between the public and industrial scientific communities. It features highly polished, soft-rock instrumentation layered beneath multiple guest vocalists, typifying the pristine production standards of the era. The album's hit single 'Don't Answer Me' achieved major success, characterized by its Phil Spector-esque 'Wall of Sound' arrangement.
