Vulture Culture

by The Alan Parsons Project

Vulture Culture cover art

Originally conceived as the second half of a sprawling double album conceptually focused on modern consumerism, this project was ultimately released as a standalone record. 'Vulture Culture' relies heavily on the prevalent Fairlight synthesizer and drum programming of the era, presenting a sleek, highly accessible fusion of progressive pop and soft rock. It marks the final album by the collective to be entirely recorded via analog tape before transitioning to digital.
