Album Notes & Community Reviews

Moving further away from their acoustic punk origins, the Welsh rock group embraced stadium-sized anthems and heavily layered synthesizer production. 'Eye of the Hurricane' captures the earnest, politically charged 'Big Music' sound of the era, drawing frequent comparisons to U2 and Simple Minds. The album includes some of their most recognizable commercial hits, including 'Rain in the Summertime'.
