Recovering from the devastating deaths of Duane Allman and Berry Oakley, the band regrouped with guitarist Dickey Betts taking the creative helm. 'Brothers and Sisters' leans heavily into wonderfully uplifting, fiercely melodic country-rock textures, scoring massive hits like 'Ramblin' Man' while maintaining their intensely energetic, highly rhythmic southern-rock jam band improvisations.
