Album Notes & Community Reviews

Propelled by the blistering lead guitar technique of a young Ted Nugent, the second album from this Detroit outfit is a fiery staple of American garage psychedelia. The title track became a massive, era-defining hit, expertly marrying the raw aggression of the Midwest rock scene with the expansive studio effects and lysergic themes of the late 1960s.
