Album Notes & Community Reviews

Capitalizing on the massive success of their 'Journey to the Center of the Mind' single, Ted Nugent's Detroit-based group delivered a diverse, heavy-psych follow-up. While still anchored by Nugent's ferocious, hyper-amplified lead guitar, the album unexpectedly introduces complex brass arrangements, piano interludes, and even early synthesizer experiments. It marks the most creatively expansive and instrumentally varied release of the band's career.
