Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Austin-based ensemble debuted with an incredibly gentle, hypnotic fusion of minimalist indie rock and krautrock-inspired repetition. Relying heavily on vintage Farfisa organs and incredibly subtle, brushed drum patterns, the band constructs a remarkably warm, deeply pacifying atmosphere. It firmly established their signature 'lo-fi space rock' aesthetic, contrasting beautifully with the aggressive alternative music dominating the mid-90s.
