Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Animalisms' finds The Animals delivering potent, blues-drenched interpretations of American soul and rhythm and blues standards. Eric Burdon's gritty, commanding vocals and Dave Rowberry's driving keyboard work create a fierce, dynamic sound synonymous with the harder edge of the British Invasion. It marks one of the final quintessential releases before the original lineup splintered.
