Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Eric Is Here' was billed to Eric Burdon & The Animals but primarily functioned as a solo vehicle for Burdon during a lineup transition. Accompanied by the Benny Golson and Horace Ott orchestras, the LP leaned heavily into sophisticated pop and brassy standards. It stands as an anomaly in their catalog, trading raw R&B for polished orchestral arrangements.
