Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging from the UK anarcho-punk scene but largely defying its stylistic boundaries, The Astronauts offer a wildly eclectic, psychedelic post-punk hybrid. 'It's All Done by Mirrors' incorporates elements of folk, ska, and art-punk, tied together by Mark Astronaut's distinctive vocal delivery. The album remains a deeply cherished, idiosyncratic anomaly within the early 1980s alternative underground.
