Drastically pivoting toward electronic instrumentation, the Athens, Georgia band utilized drum machines and heavy synthesizer sequencing to modernize their quirky, retro-kitsch aesthetic. The album spawned the kinetic club hit 'Legal Tender', though the recording process was marred by a copyright dispute over the track 'Don't Worry', which was pulled from subsequent pressings. It marks their final release to feature original guitarist Ricky Wilson before his tragic passing.
