Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating as one of the most enduring, foundational pillars of the legendary Flying Nun label, The Bats deliver an incredibly consistent, deeply comforting collection on 'Couchmaster'. The album relies entirely on the band's signature, highly melodic folk-rock interplay and Robert Scott's gentle, understated vocal delivery. It serves as a beautiful, warmly melancholic continuation of the classic New Zealand jangle-pop tradition.
