Album Notes & Community Reviews

Broadening their sonic horizons significantly beyond the frenetic ska revivalism of their origins, The Beat's third and final album incorporated mature pop-rock hooks, calypso, and sophisticated dub production. The presence of the enduring hit 'Save It for Later' highlighted a refined songwriting approach right before the group's dissolution.
