Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following up the explosive energy of their acclaimed debut, the Auckland-based quartet shifts towards slightly more melancholic, emotionally vulnerable songwriting. The record still boasts Elizabeth Stokes's incredible knack for power-pop hooks and intricate vocal harmonies but slows the tempo to explore themes of distance, strained friendships, and longing. It solidified their standing as premier architects of modern indie-pop.
