Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Paul Epworth, the debut album by the London duo marries stadium-sized, anthemic indie rock with dense walls of shoegaze distortion. Propelled by the massive crossover success of the single 'Dominos', the record heavily utilizes analog synthesizers and programmed drum beats to support their soaring, melancholic vocal hooks. It captured the exact midpoint between the era's emerging electro-pop trends and classic British alternative rock.
