Album Notes & Community Reviews

This critically acclaimed release captures the masterful guitarist leading his versatile quartet through an eclectic mix of avant-garde jazz and atmospheric Americana. The compositions heavily feature the cellist Hank Roberts, whose interplay with Frisell creates a uniquely dissonant yet highly melodic sonic landscape. The technical, improvisational framework highlights a distinctively American approach to modern jazz fusion.
