Album Notes & Community Reviews

The consistently prolific Michigan quintet delivers their seventh studio album with a noticeably darker and more chaotic edge than its immediate predecessors. 'Abysmal' leans heavily into the furious, blackened tremolo picking and relentless blast beats of their earliest work while retaining their signature twin-guitar melodies. It is an incredibly aggressive, highly energetic, and unremittingly dark installment in their extensive discography.
