Album Notes & Community Reviews

The San Diego collective returns to their roots after a brief hiatus, weaving gloomy, cinematic indie rock deeply indebted to Americana and dark cabaret. Pall Jenkins' mournful baritone guides heavily orchestrated tracks featuring mournful piano, strings, and lap steel. The record maintains the group's signature macabre elegance and slow-burning tension.
