Album Notes & Community Reviews

'The Spell' sees the San Diego outfit embracing a slightly more polished, expansive production style without sacrificing their signature gothic gloom. Featuring prominent keyboards and funereal tempos, the arrangements create an ethereal, cinematic mood perfect for Pall Jenkins' sorrowful croon. It marks a sophisticated midpoint in their catalog of slow-burning indie rock.
