Continuing their evolution away from pure, chaotic screamo, the Seattle quintet embraces more pronounced, danceable indie-rock rhythms. The intertwined, dual vocal shrieks of Johnny Whitney and Jordan Blilie remain intensely theatrical and abrasive, driving highly politicized and surreal lyrical narratives over tightly wound post-punk grooves.
