Driven by the massive international success of 'Digging Your Scene', the British group refined their sophisticated blend of jazz-inflected pop and blue-eyed soul. Behind the sleek, radio-friendly production, frontman Dr. Robert embedded pointed critiques of conservative politics and societal alienation.
