Album Notes & Community Reviews

Co-produced with Tony Visconti, Bob Geldof and company expanded their palette considerably on their fourth studio album, incorporating prominent reggae inflections and dense, African-inspired percussion. The ambitious musical shift yielded the upbeat hit 'Up All Night', though it marked the beginning of their slow decline in widespread commercial dominance[cite: 1].
