Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded entirely on an incredibly minimal budget, Anton Newcombe stripped away the heavy, droning orchestration in favor of raw, acoustic delta blues and country-folk pastiches. The lo-fi, deeply sarcastic, and drug-addled recordings were notoriously captured in a single day, highlighting the band's staggering mid-90s prolificacy. It provides a fascinating, stripped-down counterpoint to the massive psychedelic soundscapes of their concurrent releases.
