Album Notes & Community Reviews

Guided by producer James William Guercio, 'Time & Charges' highlights the Chicago outfit's sophisticated blend of horn-driven pop and blue-eyed soul. The record features intricate brass charts and ambitious orchestral interludes that elevated them above standard teen idol status. Their polished, commercially formidable sound served as an early blueprint for the jazz-rock horn bands that would dominate the late 60s and early 70s.
