The massive Staten Island instrumental collective continued to hone their distinctive 'Afro-Soul' synthesis on their brooding third full-length. Incorporating notably darker, slightly psychedelic undertones to their driving horn arrangements and heavy funk rhythms, the project evokes the cinematic tension of a vintage 1970s exploitation film soundtrack.
