Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Cars' 'Panorama' took a darker and more mechanical direction after the immediate pop success of their first two albums. The record emphasizes chilly synthesizer textures, clipped rhythms, and a less overtly commercial mood while retaining Ric Ocasek's concise songwriting.
