Album Notes & Community Reviews
The album is a perfect example of the Chico Hamilton Quintet's unique 'chamber jazz' sound. The use of cello and flute creates a beautiful and ethereal texture, while Eric Dolphy's adventurous and harmonically advanced improvisations push the boundaries of cool jazz.
